LEEDS CHAMP SHOW - OUR FABULOUS BOY!

We are so proud of Chevy, who continues to mature slowly, but surely, as  Gordon Setter should.

There is depth in quality in the competition in this breed at present, so we were delighted when Chevy achieved his first Reserve Challenge Certificate at  Leeds Championship Show yesterday, awarded by respected breed specialist judge Jose Baddeley. I was at work and not present to see this wonderful moment.

My sincere thanks to Jose, and of course to Paulyne and Alan who own Chevy's Dad Henry, and who own, love and campaign Chev.

Also thanks to Anna Weir who allowed me to have Gael, Chev;s Mum, and to all of Chevy's fan club ..I understand a cheer went up from the other side of the Munsterlander ring!!!

I admit to shedding a tear when I heard the results of the dog judging. Chevy now has surpassed the wins of my dear old Flynn in the 1980's, as Flynn missed his Junior Warrant by one point and had one Res CC before I withdrew him from the show ring. Chevy is  so worth not having given up, and waiting all these years for.
