2009 NEWS ROUND-UP
My apolgies to all who may have wondered what has happened since I last posted in July 2009.
The latter part of the year turned into a complete roller-coaster, and more personal priorities took over.
It seemed that every time I answered the 'phone it was to bad news. Several friends and family have ben affected by serious and in some cases terminal health problems. To all of you who have lost close loved ones, our sincere condolences. To those who are battling bravely on .. you are never far from our thoughts.
I believed that 2010 must surely turn the corner upwards, until on January 31st my son's brother-in-law became a casualty of the war in Afghanistan and was delivered home minus two legs and an arm. Miraculously he survived and is curently in rehab in the south of England displaying an admirable positive attitude.
It brings home the reality that life is a truly tenuous thing, and we should appreciate every moment. All I can say is 'thanks be' for our dogs who keep us grounded, sane and help us through the sad times with their unconditional love and loyalty.
2009 highlights include:
Ellscott Lake Lukka [AI] Reserve Challenge Certificate SKC Champ Show August Judge; Brenda Banbury
Ellscott Glen Gelder mit Estmarza Winner of the Large Munsterlander Club's Datroy Penny Black Obedience Trophy
Celtaur Summer Night 'Our Dogs' Large Munsterlander Top Sire 2009
Well Done! I shall detail these achievements individually in more detail later.
